Grigorios Vassiloconstandakis, born in Athens, Greece, has served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic as a career diplomat for almost 37 years, since 1985.

At the Ministry has served at the Cabinet of the Undersecretary of State, the Directorate of bilateral relations with Turkey and Cyprus, as Head of the Directorate of bilateral relations with the US and Canada, and as Director of the Diplomatic Academy. 

Promoted Ambassador ad honorem and retired in June 2022. Active analyst focusing on international diplomacy and geopolitics since then. Writer of numerous articles in Greek dailies.
