Ioannis Karydas, Chief Executive Officer, Renewables & Energy Storage, COPELOUZOS GROUP & Managing Director, ELICA INTERCONNECTOR SA

John Karydas is the Chief Executive Officer of the Renewables and Battery Storage Business Unit of Copelouzos Group. He is the Managing Director or an Executive Member of the Board of major companies of the Group developing and operating RES, energy storage and electrical interconnection projects. He is also the Managing Director of the company developing the electrical interconnection between Greece and Egypt project (GREGY). Prior to joining Copelouzos Group, he held senior and commercial positions in Greek and multinational companies.

He received an M.B.A. degree from Bath University in the UK, an M.Sc. in Computing Science from Oxford University and a B.Sc. (with First Class Honors) in Computer Science with Mathematics from London University. He is a graduate of Athens College.
